<p>Eating can be both a blessing and a curse. Many people struggle with eating because they cannot keep it in balance. They end up eating too little or too much and do not live healthy lives because of it. We all know the dangers of eating too little. Probably everyone has at least one friend that struggles with an eating disorder of some kind. That friend just cannot seem to get a grip on their eating patterns and they are unhealthy because of it. They think about or talk about food almost constantly.</p>
<p>Other people struggle with eating too much. Eating more food than we need to live is something that the majority of people, at least in the West, struggle with. Eating is associated with most kinds of social activities and events and therefore people learn to eat for reasons other than to satisfy hunger or prolong their health. Eating becomes a way to experience pleasure or to numb the pains of life.</p>
<p>The bottom line is that whether people struggle with eating too little or with indulging on food too much, they are not using food in ways that are healthy and life-promoting. Eating, while it is definitely meant to bring people pleasure and satisfation, is primarily to be a means of sustaining a healthy life. Our problems begin anytime eating is neglected or indulged in beyond what is necessary.</p>
<p>Take a look at your eating patterns. You may be surprised to see that you have established unhealthy eating habits over the years. Perhaps your schedule for each day is centered around when you can have meals or a snack. If so, there is a high chance that food has become a bit too high of a priority. Anytime that your thoughts are consumed with food, whether with restraining yourself from it or with consuming more of it, you are thinking of eating and of food in unhealthy ways.</p>
<p>Giving eating a rightful place in our lives without allowing it to become consuming is the key. Make an effort to keep your perspective about eating balanced and healthy. Your life will be better and longer because of it.</p>

<p>If you notice you have a problem about elimination, you should take it seriously, go see a doctor. Many people have this problem. Don’t be shy or anything, it can be very serous to your health.</p>
<p>The first step, is finding out if there even is a problem. First you should see how many bowel movements you have daily (BM). If you have one per day it’s not a problem, however it is better to have 2 to 3 BM’s a day and more if you eat more often. But if you find you are having one per week or 2 per month, then you have a serious problem.</p>
<p>For some people they might say they don’t find the time. The reason could be they are out all day and would prefer to have their BM at home rather then a public bathroom. But let me tell you, you will keep your colon quite happy if you go several times for the day. If you are looking for a trick it would be to eat a lot of raw fruits and vegetables, steamed beets and using digestive enzymes with your meals. Do whatever you can; it will be beneficial to you.</p>
<p>I have just lightly touched on the subject, but if you have a problem you should consult a doctor and seek help. Because this problem is not good for your health, take care of it today and look forward to tomorrow. May you live a healthy and prosper life.</p>

<p>Post nasal drip is a particular problem found in young children which can cause bad breath.  The bacteria causing the smelly breath tend to be at home on the back of the tongue, and this is exactly where the nasal drip concentrates.  The nasal drip itself is a chemical compound that is reported from research to act as a fuel to the bacteria.  It contains protein made up of amino acids that are broken down to hydrogen sulfide and other smells.</p>
<p>If it appears that your child has a persistent bad breath problem, it would be wise to consult your physician for assistance in diagnosing and curing the issue.</p>

We have more processed and fast foods available to us than ever before. In this modern era everything needs to be convenient, and that includes our meals. More and more people turn to ready meals, pre prepared foods and fast foods rather than what we used to do many years ago, cook a meal using fresh ingredients. Obviously manufacturers are cashing in on this trend and giving us more choice than ever of convenience meals. These meals are full of fat and useless calories and play a large part in the overall scheme of obesity.</p>
<p>Another factor is beauty magazines and waif like celebrities. Woman (and men) find themselves under extreme pressure to conform to the standard that we see in the glossy pages of magazines. Eating disorders are more prevalent than ever before in the developed countries. Anorexia and Bulimia are the most prevalent eating disorders in teenage  and young adult females.</p>
<p>Also having an impact on our weight is the advancement in technology, cars, public transport and maybe not as obvious – the internet. With the age of the internet more and more people are working from home so some lifestyles are even more sedentary nowadays as some workers do not even have to leave their house to conduct their working day, it can all be done in the comfort of their own home.</p>
<p>So all in all the odds are stacked against us, the only way to overcome body weight issues is to take matters into your own hands. Take more time to prepare meals with fresh produce, remember that the models in glossy magazines have been airbrushed to within an inch of their lives, and of course take some time out to get some exercise.</p>

Pamela S. Douglas, M.D., chief of cardiology at Duke University and co-author of the JACC paper, said that the greatest damage comes from a breast cancer treatment mainstay: chemotherapy. Douglas always felt that “the benefit of saving lives outweighed the risks and were just part of the accepted cost.” But with the success of treatment and growing survivor numbers, Douglas and her colleagues are urging doctors to take the long view when deciding on a woman&#8217;s breast cancer treatment. First treat the cancer, but don&#8217;t forget about cardiovascular health down the road.<br />
Chemotherapy is a systemic therapy that makes use of drugs to treat cancer. Prior to a surgery, chemotherapy may be used both to reduce the size of the breast tumor and to destroy cancer cells wherever they may be. After the surgery, chemotherapy works throughout your system to kill cancer cells that may have spread throughout your body. Chemotherapy affects the whole body by going through the bloodstream. Just like other systemic treatments, the purpose of chemotherapy is to get rid of any cancer cells that may have spread from where the cancer started to another part of the body.<br />
The body&#8217;s normal cells grow and divide in a controlled manner. Cancer cells, however, grow and divide in seemingly total chaos &#8212; without any control or logical order. Chemotherapy works by stopping the growth or multiplication of cancer cells, thereby killing them.<br />
Specifically, Douglas and her team of researchers are looking at chemotherapy medicines called anthracyclines. These compounds are used to treat a variety of cancers, which includes leukemia, lymphomas, uterine, ovarian, and breast cancers. Anthracyclines are also known to have a weakening effect on some women  hearts.<br />
According to Douglas, “There are other drugs that are less harmful, and we know a little bit about how to lower the doses”, but added that it&#8217;s too soon to start completely overhauling breast cancer therapy. Instead, doctors and organizations including the National Breast Cancer Coalition are calling for more research into cancer treatments to see whether other drugs might yield the same result without the added long-term risk.<br />
Douglas also stresses the importance of taking into consideration the different factors surrounding a woman&#8217;s condition, as patients are “taking hits from multiple places.” While the cancer therapy might be one source of added cardiovascular risk, diet, weight, and family history also play a major role.</p>
