There are more than a half of residents having mailboxes in this housing complex. They are coming up with unique styles and designs; though some are still in standard models. This has made me a little bit ashamed because I have been living here for years but I still don’t install a single mailbox on the entrance gate or on the wall or door at the front side of my house. It makes all mails, letters even some packages just landed on my garden ground or on the porch floor when I and my wife come back home from our work at night. And sometimes it drives me crazy when very confidential documents from my office get dirty because of dusty wind or wet due to the rain.
Recently, I often glance at a shop at the corner of the same block of my office downtown when I walk down home to the nearest Subway. The shop is selling mail boxes if I am not mistaken because the door is closed most of the time. I plan to get my wife to know about this shop and we both will give a visit just for a moment. I know she will agree with me; she knows also what I am feeling about mailboxes.
As planned, we both walk toward the shop on Saturday morning after doing some shop at a supermarket nearby. By the door of the shop, it is closed but the sign says opened. I opened the door for my wife and we both get inside.
The room is not so wide but it is long. This shop is indeed selling mail boxes. There are many styles and designs of boxes on both sides of the wall and some on the hallway. Looking around, I get interested in a wall mount mailbox on my left. It is so quite unique that I reach my hand to open it. It is so nice looking. Small and big mails and letters could be inserted into the slot and there is also a place on the top for a medium-sized package. This is perfect. I tell my wife about this and she affirms my choice. Ok, let’s get this one for our house.
